Starting as a Production Assistant, and now being promoted to a full-time photographer, I've been learning the ins and outs of news. From breaking news to weather to Around Town segments, I've honed my photography and videography skills used for broadcast and web. If I'm not out and about, I'm in-house editing. I am also the sole Good Day Columbus weekend editor. Delivering video elements to live broadcast for the 5-hour show.

WBGU is responsible for broadcasting and streaming BGSU's sporting events. I have worked almost all positions in production, but I am typically a high and tight camera operator for most sporting events. The producers often assign me to find heroes, coaches, and crowd shots. This helps tell a story.

For a senior video project, a couple of friends and I wrote, directed, and filmed a music video for a local band. This was my favorite school video project. We had fun with inspiration from the video games that raised us. We also had a lot of fun playing with a greenscreen.

WBGU held a festival for kids at our local ice arena. A crew interviewed kids in front of a green screen, I face painted, and then later I edited them. There are a series of them, but LJ's is my favorite. These are meant to broadcast during interstitials.

As apart of our Summer in Ohio series, we would visit festivals around Ohio. On this shoot, I was a camera operator and got a lot of b-roll of the Asian Festival. It was lots of fun, and there was really good food.

As apart of our Summer in Ohio series, we would visit festivals around Ohio. On this shoot, I was a camera operator and got a lot of b-roll of the Asian Festival. It was lots of fun, and there was really good food. I edited the Kale and Ale Festival. Inkarceration was the coolest festival, though, there was heavy metal and tattooing in a prison. There I helped find people to interview, had them sign release forms, and assisted the director.

I have worked on several shoots as a PA and done the editing for multiple WBGU Cooks shows. It's pretty fun to eat on set, but later when I am editing I get hungry ...

I am a Toledo, Ohio resident and Bowling Green State University graduate moving to Chicago. I studied visual communication technology. I am particularly adept in post-production but can juggle all production phases. I am passionate about the environment, animals, and helping others. I hope to work for another company that addresses social issues relating to these topics through creative storytelling and video production.
